CREATIVE WAYS TO REACH YOUR COMMUNITY

As an anonymous individual once said, “A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because her trust is not on the branch but on its own wings. Always believe in yourself.”As a girl living through my teen years, this quote has been proven valid as I encounter challenges in my everyday life, in which having faith in my abilities and in God is necessary. You are probably wondering who I am? My name is Chimamanda Udodi, and I am a 14-year-old girl residing in Southern New Jersey. I have African roots as both of my parents are from Nigeria, a country situated on the western coast of Africa with a unique, diverse, and fascinating culture. Additionally, I have a fraternal twin brother. Though, we differ in various ways owing to our interests, hobbies, and personality. Growing up, I was fortunate to have diligent and successful parents who provided my brother and I with everything we needed and desired to have without much trouble. However, as I continue to mature, I have come to realize how crucial it is for me to work hard to provide for myself and, in turn, help the community. Giving back to people in dire need has always been an inner desire of mine, but I have struggled to find ways to do so. It was not until recently that I discovered that I could utilize this outlet as a blogger to help others that are also struggling with ideas to contribute to society; hence, the birth of my blog named “Creative ideas to reach your community.” Through my love for God, love for fashion, modeling, designing, creative art, cooking, and assisting those in need, my blogs will inculcate these interests of mine into different creative pieces. Moreover, I will display some DIY projects one can venture into to help the poor and those facing adversity without breaking the bank. Always live in the reality that one hand, even a small one, can make a notable difference in the world.

Stay Tuned for more of my upcoming blogs on how to make simple DIY projects that can be used to help your community such as DIY face masks, gift baskets, baked goods, and care packages for the sick and the homeless. Remain blessed.
